there is no Oil in my motor?
I assume if the motor is not running this is the same if I had oil in there on the bottom of the pan with the motor off. It will be empty for about half a week. Is this all good?

RE: there is no Oil in my motor?
to complex to understand for me. I could get oil tommorm but I am changing my filter and won't get it until wednesday. Things arn't so convient overseas.... Can you give me a more detailed decription of what you just said? I ment to take a bit out today because it was too full but ended up dropping the plug in the oil pan and just let it go after that.

RE: there is no Oil in my motor?
If you want to prime your oil system before start up, remove your distributer and the top of the oil pump shaft is exposed (the bottom of the distributer is what turns the oil pump) turning that shaft with a drill in the CORRECT direction will be as if the moter is on and oil will pump throughout
you can get a priming rod or a really long extension and a 1/4" socket will work, thats how I did mine.

well since its only a week dont worry
but if u were storing it over a season or something, you would definitely want to keep oil in it to keep everything "lubed".
if its just a week dont worry man, it will be fine.
my stang doesn't like sitting though, but its got high miles and likes to be beat on [8D]
