i've seen this problem on other forums, and new head bolts fixed the problem
the stock bolts are one time use only

I am almost sure that is you problem....whenver you change heads, bolts are a must.

well one thing to check is...if the bolts are at fault...are they weeping?....if so that where most of your air is coming from

Or...you may want to do a combustion leak test with one of these to confirm it's a head gasket problem. My

If you do replace your bolts, go w/ ARP head studs. They are reusible b/c they tq down on the head itself, not the stud/shaft of the bolt. Best $75 I ever spent on ebay.

+1^^ Regular bolt set will cost you at least 50 bucks each time...I like the stud idea also.
