Default Another "should I buy this"

Alright guys...I'm now in the market for my fox. I found a pretty good lookin notchback. It has 130K on the body and tranny :/ but the engine was swapped out with another 302 (mileage unknown). The car has had two owners. The first wanted to make it a drag car and the 2nd one, who I talked to, just uses it as a DD. It has some pretty good mods already, including a new rear end in the back from a trubo something with a 3.73 ratio and new 5 lug hubs with disc brakes I think he said. Hes asking 4700...

what do yall think

whats high mileage for a foxbody stang? any trouble spots i should look for?

Here she is

Great looking car and a notch to boot. Might be worth a look.

Thats quite a few base mods, when I bought mine I was really happy with the base I had to run with and this looks like plenty more.
Just gotta make sure the price matches all the parts that haven been bolted on... and take it for a drive
Looks good though, very large cowl hood.

you better hurry and go check that one out. if i was still in the market for one you would already be to late. if it is close to what he is claiming it would be a good buy. better jump on it i waited on a few and missed them. good luck.

Yah I swore he said 5 lug, but your right they do look like the ponies. He didn't really seem to know that much...I asked how many miles were on the engine and he had no clue, not even a ballpark guess, other than that it had been swapped. He just had it for 8 months and the guy before him was gonna make it a drag car but never got around to doing it past what it is now (so he was probably pretty happy on the skinny pedal).

I dont want to offend anybody...just Ford doesn't register in my head as being reliable in the upper mileage, but having never owned any fords and just basing my opinion off my parents old ford station wagon...I cant really say anything. But yall think it'll last in the 100Ks?

The 5.0's are pretty bulletproof pal. Go with your gut instict on this one........doesn't hurt to take it for a ride. Looks good, other than the mismatched wheels.

Yah i'll definitely be matchin the front wheels with some new back ones.

And also if you notice there is no "5.0" symbol on the side...I hope its not a 4 banger frankenstein.
