Why in the world would...

Why would changing a motor mount cause a vibration between 2500 and 3000 rpms? Any ideas?

It sure seems like it showed up the day I changed the motor mount. I used to feel it lightly on the highway, at around 75. Now I feel it in every gear in that rpm range. So motor mounts need to be adjusted sometimes, Tengram?

yeah, the engine has to sit on them just right or you'll get vibrations

what mounts did you replace them with? i have heard of problems with some of the poly ones, specifically energy sus. does the engine appear to sit level?

ORIGINAL:5.0Hardtop
...the motor mounts have big nuts on the bottom that hold them to the crossmember, the holes in the crosmember are slotted. If motor leans, loosen nuts use a jack to level as needed and retighted the nuts...
