Why would changing a motor mount cause a vibration between 2500 and 3000 rpms? Any ideas?

what mounts did you replace them with? i have heard of problems with some of the poly ones, specifically energy sus. does the engine appear to sit level?
ORIGINAL:5.0Hardtop ...the motor mounts have big nuts on the bottom that hold them to the crossmember, the holes in the crosmember are slotted. If motor leans, loosen nuts use a jack to level as needed and retighted the nuts... |
