stock '94 GT diff with 3.08's, what do i need to install 3.73 gears?

you do not need the kit, but it helps in case since i am guessing you not going to always do the speed limit, and if your instaling them then you need a dial indicator and depth gauge and a little press.

All youll need is the gears. Then take it to a GOOD trans/drivetrain shop and let them do it. That way youll know its done right, and if its not you can hold them responsible.

Thats the diameter of the ring gear if Im not mistaken. The 7.5" rear axle was installed in FOX bodies from 79-85, 86 was the first year of the 8.8"

ok so '94 would be the 8.8, ok im not going to be installing the gears myself but the mechanic who will what does he need? im pretty sure hes gonna have to open the diff right?
