Someone i know told me that its ok to put gt40 heads and a E303 cam on stock motor with out having to change the intake or anything else. Is this true and also can you still use it as a daily driver.

yeah thats true
but it won't breath enough for those mods, and the cam sucks for speed density

I read your name, not your sig....an 86-88 uses a different style of air mapping than the 89-93

86 is CFI, 87-88 are speed density. An E303 is too much for gt40s anyway. A B303 would be better suited for that getup. Or you could just take out the FI all together and use a carb. The intake is A LOT cheaper around 250, and you can pick up a good 650 CFM carb for about 300. You can retain your stock disty as the ignition module is mounted right to it. The only other thing youd need is a throttle cable off of an 85GT.
-P.
PS: I hate FI for non turbo applications.

P Zero...'86 are speed density too, '85 GT autos were CFI...'85 manual tranny GT's were carbed.

In a 93 lx you said use a B303 instead of a E303 cam with GT40 heads.
