Tranny problem
Hey guys, i have a 94 mustang gt with abuilt 302 nitrous engine. Were pushing 350-400 all motor and then a dual stage nitrous set up with a 75 out of the hole and then a 125. I bought a T-5 from a friend that put G-force internals and went 11.7 on it before upgrading to a C-4. I know this tranny wont hold the power for long i just need something to get the car moving. My question is what type of tremec should i be shopping for, iwant to stay with a 5 or 6 speed. I drove the tko 600 i think it is in my buddies SN, im going to get a better workout with that thing than at the gym, but if thats my only choice then ill go with it.By the way his 3rd gear is going out in his now. What type of other upgrades are out their as far as cryo treating the internals....any shops/web sites would be great. Thanks guys.

RE: Tranny problem
as far as the tremecs are concerned, the tko 500 is good to 500 ft lbs of torque. the 600 is good to 600 ft lbs. horsepower isnt what you need to be concerned with. you need to know what you're putting down torque wise.
the tko's are good transmissions, and you can get upgraded parts for them through tremec.
the t-56 is the 6 speed found in cobras, vettes, camaros..
D&D motorsports has a lot of tremec stuff. i'd look there.
