yeah like fiveliterrice eater said you could prolly get an aftermarket rotary motor for cheaper than the cost of fabricating the whole car. the only way it would be worth it for you is if you knew and had the equipment to fab. it yourself. you would have to cut and widen the tran hump in the floor figue out how to fit atleast an 8.8 in there cuz the little rearend thats in there aint gona take it. custom driveshaft, 5.0 ecu, prolly mount the motor with motorplate and midplate have to level it out and weld in the brackets, hope you have a hosit cuz the motor will be in and out a few hundred times. need to find a radiator to fit or hope a stang radiator will fit your gonna need to put in a nice fuel system cuz yours wont support it. and the list goes on.......its like makin a whole new animal or a race car

I think it would be cool to have a 'Stang motor in an Rx7. The thing is...it's not your average back yard or do it yourself job. Theres a lot more to it than you would think. For about the money you would pay for that whole engine swap...you could get a twin turbo 13B. That would push you down the road quicker than the 'Stang motor would.

Actually there are quite a few places that specialize in making kits to drop V8's into RX7's. And suprisingly(sp) ennough V8's drop into the RX7 chassis nicely.
I don't want 8K I said shifting at 7k. And like I said earlier, mazda has stopped making engine housings for the earlier rotary engines, hell they just quit making the large center plates for 20b's.
