stock pistons with stock size reliefs.
85 has valve reliefs, 86 is the only year that does not.

anyway my friend also has an 85. same heads with an e-cam (more duration then mine) and 1.7 rockers (more lift then mine) and has no problems, i just remembered that.

well, i dont think its the ptv clearance then. but you still should always check it. they could be hitting the valve covers though.
