Default clicking noise..fixed! finally

when im in park, there is maybe a faint tick
but when i put it in drive it becomes a lot louder
when i accelerate it becomes even louder
its near the headers on the passenger side
against the firewall and w/ in 4-5 inches of it
there is a tube that goes from the air pump
that branches off and goes right by there
and that shakes pretty bad so idk if thats the noise

at first my dad said to tighten the headers so i did
..no results, could it be a cracked gasket?

i started off using 87 then switched to 89 or 91(gas)
and i switched to 87 and had no problem but
all of a sudden i got this noise..its frustrating

anyone have any suggestions or diagnosis for it?

any help is appreciated, im taking it to my dad's this weekend

and i just filled up w/ 89 to see if that could be the problem
