Can any one steer me in the direction in getting at least 320 hp to 350 hp without any power adders ? I am currentley in possesion of ported gt-40 heads,255lph fuel pump,holley adj fuel reg, trickflow stage 1 cam 226, 512 lift, Gt 40 intake off exploreer and a jet chip ? Is this okay ? I need guidance from the experts !!!!!

320-350rwhp?? out of a 302? never happen

youd need high compression pistons or a stroker kit. a good h/c/i will get you 290-310rwhp

id get stroke it to 347 and get better heads and intake. and the jet chip isnt doing anything. you can advance the timing yourself for free

you can get a solid 300whp out of a good h/c/i....stick w/ what u got and a 75 shot and its over man..just need 24's w/ a matchin mass air if u run a shot..

but on the contrary, suspension and weight reduction is key..if u hook hard w/ that combo you can run 12's

how much horse power can you pick up by port matching?

it depends. but if the ports in the heads are bigger than the intake ports, youre not giving them all the air they need. so port matching will always help.

how much hp do the factory stock cars put down?

i'v heard of iron headed stock bottom end 5.0 cars putting down 300+whp

find a good porter, and have a nice cam ground for it.

I got me a 1965 cobra intake that came of the gt 350 289, I got the stock e-6 head the the ports on the intake are about a little less that a 1/4 inch bigger than the heads,if I gasket match them both and smoth out all the casting flaws it should give me a little bit mor power shouldnt it?

It will be really hard to get 320+ rwhp from a 302. With a stroker kit it's fairly easy. With a really good H/C/I setup your goal is acheivable! The gt40's aren't quite as good as lets say afr 185's but they have worked on so they are okay. The tfs stage 1 cam you have is a good cam but the stage 2 is an awesome cam. The intake may hurt you a little, but get is gasket matched and you should be near your goal. There may be other small things that you might would like to think about such as TB, headers, exhaust, CAI, bigger injectors, etc.
