Default 5.0

So i was asking around to who owned a 5.0 that sat outside my school and found out it was a teachers. It is a 1992 5.0 gt with nothing done to it except a short shifter the down fall is it has 150,00miles onit but it is girl owned and mostly highway according to her. She has had it since it was 3,000miles old. So anyway this is the exact year and body i want (its a triple black)! The body is a good cond. with a fesh repaint. The interior is nice just a little faded and it has a new clutch. Plus the tires are good and she has an H pipe sitting at home (the car has a single pipe its kinda weird). Well how much would you guys pay for this thing and would you trust it with 150+k miles? Im just looking for something to tint the windows make it sound nice and drive around for a few years then maybe drop in a new motor. but for the time being i need it to be pretty reliable nothing huge.

btw she claims the doors wont lock??? I wonder what that could be she jokingly asked me to steal it from her so she didnt have to worry about it nemore.

5.0 w/ single exhaust? idk about that, ive never heard of it

150k miles is a lot but these mustangs can take quite a bit
it depends on how well the car was taken care of

V mine below was like this when i bought it for $4,600

well ive seen it before it came from the factory with the single pipe. Yours is nice its not that nice I think about 2k for this one is fair its not in the best shape but its not a junker either. Ive also heard the 85-92 can take a beating with the forged pistons and internals and if it was a 93 or up it may have trouble with alum. parts.

offer her 3 grand, and if shes good lookin send her my way. i love teachers that drive muscle cars

i bought mine for 3300 with 151? or so thousand. only problem i have with it, and this is because i abuse it, ...a lot.. is that one of the pistons has bad rings causing it to burn oil and foul out a spark plug. when i replace the plug its fine for a few days or weeks. and it pulls like a sunbitch. 150k is fine if it was well maintained.

you should definitely spend the money on a carfax report before you buy. for one thing, they haven't made a 5.0 with single exhaust since 85, and i really cant see why anyone would change duals to single. also, i'm assuming that she has had the car since she was a teenager? i'm sure you know how teenage girls drive
