Hmmm im not for sure if a MSD could make that big of a differnce. I have a 91GT Conv and im gonna be heading back to Dyno shop in about a week ,i did some minor mods like a set of GT40P heads and new Typhoon upper and lower intake and new Throttle body 70mm just waiting on my C&L 73 mm mass air meter.I hope i get 250 down to the tires but well see i need a good tune before i go also.Stock i was pushing 197 hp to the wheels and this was bone stock. Since then i also added some Pulleys so maybell be close . But i wish you the best of luck and keep us posted cause i am really cerious what is up with the setup. Hey was it a good dyno shop? i mean wasnt a hole in the wall place was it ?

well it wasn't as good as the other one i went to....this was a dynojet. i agree but maybe the less spark, and fuel it had before cost me 10-15hp? i think it is starving for fuel where the computer can't justify.

sounds like computer for sure... I'd bet with a custom tune you'll have to crank the pressure back up. Just out of curiosity, do you have a fuel pressure guage installed, and is the pressure holding at high rpms? Wonder if the pump can keep up? Just throwing out ideas.

yeah i have a gauge on there i also have a 190lph in the tank. the first pull it went from 36psi to 48psi...let me tell you our eyes were burning from the fumes! we adjusted it to 32psi,and it held at 36psi.

well there are alot of factor here did you use an A/F sensor on the dyno run..my guess is no..so until you can the test didn't did do your car justice....I would sping for a used tweecer rt of PMS system just from the start my guess you see 25hp....seems the engine is cry'in for more lift on the exhaust side so your seeing the limitation on the cam but that's not seeing the graph of the dyno....your igintion is also a BIG issue here as the stock unit falls off around 5k...so arm yourself with a good igintion and a PMS and you'll see a world of difference with just those 2 things..good luck

hey vfast are you saying the cam is too small?well the cam is for 1.7's wich will give me a .544/.544,but i called d.s.s,and comp cams they told me 5-10hp is the most i lost. the reason i put 1.6's on was they were brand new d.s.s rollers, unless i can make a swap for 1.7's. today i installed my battery relocator kit,and msd 6al back on.now i'm just waiting for my pro-billit to get back.....my stator was bad.

I would try puting the 1.7 on the exhaust side only and see the difference.....if you do this let me know how it goes and we can try some other stuff
