K's to blow

K's to blow
So...I've got a few thousand to dump into the Fox. I was wondering what would be better for driveability. A fully built engine or a turbo/supercharged engine. If I go fully built...I want a F/I 351W. If turbo'd...twin. If blown...twin screw. I don't plan on spending more than 10K on it but I'm willing to spend a good chunk of money.
I was thinking of doing a MANUAL swap from my AOD with a T56. Is this a little too farfetched?

No big block for my Fox. Like I said...not going over 10.
Maybe big INCH but not big BLOCK.

You have my attention. Keep in mind it's only one of my two cars so the less it's in the shop, the better.

460 .030 over, usual prep work
Probe aka Coast High performance Piston
Stock crank turned 10-10
Scat rods with arp rod bolts
ARP main studs
HV oil pump
Truck Oil pan for fox chassis with windage screen
If you want to budget hardcore, find a set of A-429 aluminum heads.
Victor Junior Intake
Solid cam around 630-640 lift 250ish @ 50 duration
Victor Junior Intake
Holley 950
10.5:1 compression
This was my first big block along time ago, I did do head work and it made 680ish on the dyno and never failed me one bit. Pump gas, started every day and lasted 3 years till I sprayed it with a 400 shot. It split in half after 6, 400hp nitrous passes. Big blocks are the way. You have to want to break out of the whole small block mentality.

To stick within his requirements:
a fully forged 302 or 351 with an aftermarket block using AFR 185's with a bit of massaging (or something similar)
turbo kit (may have trouble finding a kit put together that uses twins for cheap)
TKO 600 tranny (T56 takes too much money to get in the car by comparison)
AEM standalone or another full tuning solution
That'll drop ya in the big block built number range on pump gas.

Definitely budget the money for a MAP based full standalone. It can actually be fairly competitive in pricing to MAF systems on these cars since ppl spend so much money on MAF kits, etc. You'll gain a chunk of power with a standalone.
