why 5 lug?

Default why 5 lug?

Is there any reason to upgrade to 5 lug on a stock stang except for rim selection?

not really looks?.. but i got a 11 flat second car with a 9inch moser rear end and 31 big ford splined axles and i got four lug still.. and i dont think ill ever go 5 lug waist of money... if u can run on the highway missing a lug on a 5lug wheel at 80mph for 2 hours then i think u will be just fine in a mustang with 4lugs... heck the indy cars only have ONE big nut holdn there tiers on and they run what 200mph for hours.... so ya ill stick with my four lug set up.. my rear wont break .. i got 5grand just in my rear end ..

I have run 4 lug deep into the 9's, I see no need to change, as long as I can get weld wheels in 4 lug im all good

for looks thats it. most rims originally designed for a five lug pattern (cobra r, 99 cobra 03 cobra, saleen, roush, y2k cobra,etc.)look like crap in a four lug configuration.
