I have a vert and I hate, but I can't seem to part with it, so I bought a hatch also.

I love my 91 vert! Question I have is this, and it frustrated me because the damn handle on the left side of the latch broke. Now I can just lock the right side for the top. Anyhow, do these latch break after a while? Its stuck, I cant push it back in so that it will lock it back in place. Will I need to replace the whole latch?
