Default 91 octane and 18 degrees really worth it???

For all of you out there that are running 18 degrees of timing and 91 octane, is it really worth that much power, even with the gas prices right now? I think that I might try it out if there's a significant power increase.

is this referred to me???...it really depends on heads/cam..how efficient it will burn....seeing what you have..and pretty low mileage.

keep it at 14*can you run 89?..yes our gas is better than it used to be,but really you gotta make sure there is no spark knock

ahh yea. i found it rather misleading that the guy above said anything over 15 is useless. it depends on your setup.
