Not saying YOU don't get 27 MPG but... From Edmunds.com (they have pretty accurete info; I THINK)

And yes; with 113 Octane you will just be throwing your money away...

well were i live i dont really get a chanse to push it that much, but i know as hard to belive as it is, i did do it a couple of times. i coasted down hills and and was doing 35 in 5th but i did do it. but on the times when i do push it i get arround 12-13. it just depends on the driving.

High octane gas is usless on a stock engine unless there is some kind of a power adder on it.
I run 93 with an NOS race formula octane booster in my car which equalls out to about 100 octane. It allowed me to gain 2* of timing with my nitrous set-up.
Don't buy it! You will lose power instead of gaining power. SORRY!

27mpg on a 13+ year old V8?
i don't think so
i get 17mpg in the city, probably easily over 20mpg on the highway.
like i said i havent touched anything on my car and i have no reason to lol. i am very happy with 17 mpg.
