I have a 88 5.0 HO, its got: gears 3:73, after market cam, and a vortech super charger. Im only running about 8 psi. The car runs great exept when u get on it. If you floor it at around 3500rpm the car dies, It dosent stall. If you dont floor it you can get the car to redline and not have the problem. Its only when your floor it. The machanic at the shop i got to says i should convert my car to MAF and he thinks that might be the problem. If any one could help me out it woudl be great. I didnt have this problem before i took it to get a new head gasket. Now that the car is back from the shop it has this problem.

might not be a bad idea, it does sound like your having a air fuel ratio problem, you will also want to invest in bigger injectors with a super charger on it

well u said u floored it to redline

fuel cut off is 6250rpm's

might not want to push it past 5500 IMO

and with a power adder, u need atleast 24lb injectors

definitely convert it to mass air too

he didn't say he floored it to redline. he floored it til 3500 and it stalled out a bit, and eased it til redline just fine.
