Disconnect the linkage from the t/b and see where the problem lies. It's gonna either be the linkage or the t/b. Try the easy stuff first!!

I've had the same problem...w/ no luck getting it fixed. Put a brand new TB on and adjusted the tps and whatnot...still sticks until it's 'broken free'.... i dunno what to do either TB is new...tps is adusted correctly and everything...return spring is new..I guess it could be the throttle cable sticking somewhere...but I have No idea where

Yea I got it fixed. I took off the throttle body and cleaned carbon out from around butterfly and shine it all up and adjusted the idle screw so it don't let the butterfly come back to far kinda like over extending itself. It was definately a mechanical problem. Thanks for the thou really appreciate it.

mine sticks how you were describing but I never really thought much of it. when I first bought it, it was kind of hard to learn to drive with it sticking but I got used to it now and drive it fine, all though my dad and friends can never seem to take off normal with the throttle cable the way it is..
