Well got some bad news the 1988 notch that I was going to buy does not have a title,the guy said he baught it with no title just with a bill of sale,and he never got it registered, man that sucks.

Wait a minute.
Race cars are sold 'bill of sale' all the time.
Or, go to local cops with the VIN# and have it run for stolen, if it's clean, buy it.....

Theres special title companies that can get you a regular title for about $150-$200. May or may not be worth it for that car.

sometimes u can get an insurance company to give u a title(bonded title) where u pay a percentage of the claimed value and basically they insure that u own it get it for cheap and try it! if u cant sell it as a race car on ebay!!!

Well ran the vin, comes out that the car was stolen in 94,the original owner never got it back.

car is not worth buy if it is dirty.
