OK im doing my bottom end and i have heard that a stock block can handle 500hp. I will have about 400hp before nitrous and was wandering if a 100 shot would be safe. I will have forged pistons, but stock rods.

should be able to handle 400 no problem, but the nitrous...

nitrous creates huge cylinder pressure, and it would put you at over the 500 hp mark.

it would be a gamble every time you spray.

at a minimum, use an arp rod bolt and have the big end resized after performing the stretch method on the bolts

ok so what if i was like 350 at crank and 100 shot.

make sure to have it balanced. that makes a huge difference on how much power it can handle.

im having it balanced and blueprinted.

you might want to just run a 75shot. a little safer and you wont have to fill the bottle quiet as often with the smaller shot
