Notches are NOT 300lbs lighter.
I'd say about half that would make sense.
Personally, I like the look of the GT.
But as everyone stated above. The notchback is more desireable because of the stiffer chassis and being a little lighter.

What is all you guys do is race??? Lighter, faster...bla bla bla...I like to just drive mine, and on the street they all drive the same, just look different.
I like the LX hatch, but would take any of them. Just would have to look real hard to find a clean GT that I would buy.

Like a few other people said, for a regular old bolt on DD or weekend car I would go with a GT..than LX.. and if your looking for a all out ridiculous car (weekend, drag, whatever) I would go with a Notch. But I must say, I nice notch w/ a nice cowl and wheels looks better than almost anything....
