Default HEATER CORE REMOVAL AND INSTALL HELP!!!



Hey guys!

I need to change my heater core cause the stupid thing is leaking and I want to know what I need to do to take it off- what steps to take, I start school on the 29th and I don't want to have car trouble, and I can't drive my car if it keeps leaking all of my cooland from the radiator cause of my heater core- I want to replace it and I'm hoping that you guys can tell me how can I take it off and what tools/parts i need.
My car is a '91 mustang GT

I would recommend you getting a new one, get a haynes manual, and dive in

by pass it for now to stop the leaking.

Then to replace it you honestly need to remove the entire dash to get to and remove the box. Its not as hard as it seems but time consuming.

^^ Basically what he said, take off the entire dash and its on the right hand side. Once the dash is off it only takes a few to replace it... but its just a pain in the butt w/ all 10 billion screws in the dash.
