Default what do you think?

hey guys i ordered a TFS track heat intake, and im about to order a pair of AFR 165cc heads along with the gaskets and everything. What do you think of my combo? If you have any advice about what i should also get please let me know. Also how much hp you think id get. thanks!!

I have pretty much all the basic mods : Hooker comp headers, bbk x pipe, be cool radiator, edlebrock water pump, smog eliminator, under drive pulleys, FR driveshaft, 65mm throttle body, moroso CAI, 3.73 gears, 140 amp alt. distributer, shrt shifter. Thats pretty much it i think, but im not buying the 165cc anymore, im going with the AFR 185cc, because i know im going to end up getting better heads to go along with a power adder so i think the 185s should be good in the long run, and my freind said its no problem to notch the pistons so thats good. What im getting are the 185cc heads (stud mounts) and xtreme energy 274 h.r. cam, 1.6 rockers, and the fel pro gasket kit with the forged pistons, hoping to get more than 300 hp to the wheels along with the Tf track heat intake.

Yeah with that combo you should easily get 300 to the wheels, but you will need bigger injectors, and etc.

youll get like 290-300 at the wheels and with good tune mabye like 310 at best, Its a better combo if you put those 185 heads on a 351w and make more power, I get more cubes, its hard to make more than 300hp on a 302 w/ h/c/i, if you want more hp, turbo or nos, is your best bet then

I dont know the specs of that cam but if its close to the TFR stage 1 or 2 you should be upwords of 300-320rwhp

That is if you have the right injectors, MAF. Tune you can get away with, form what Ive found out is a tune really only improves driveability. Unless you find a real good tuner then they can get a few hp for ya.

One could easily make 500 at the crank with a N/A 302, provided you go custom ground cam, ported heads and some compression.

true but every 302 that iv'e seen make 380+ to the wheels...had 11.5 or 12.5 compression...
