RE: fan too loud
make sure your not having a clearence issue. When your motor mounts start to go your engine sags and the fan will come in contact with the shroud. If its not that try spinning the fan it should not spin freely, if it does its your fan clutch. Look on ebay for a new set.

It's the fan clutch, mine sounded like a tornado under the hood too, till
I replaced it.
super simple to replace, take top fan shroud bolts off, unblot the four bolts holding fan to water pump,
with shroud loose but still in place you can twist and turn the fan out of its hole in the shroud
4 bolts hold the fan clutch to the fan, remove and reinstall, takes about 30mins and some hand wrenches.
fan clutch cost about $70 at any local parts store.

ok so i tried spinning the fan and it doesnt spin freely...it barely moves and when it does move it moves the belt and spins other pullies with it so im guessin thats not spinning freely and i guess my fan clutch is good...the fan is very loud when i rev..sounds liek a shoprite truck lol....... there is plenty of clearance so its not touching anything...any ideas?
