broken bolt blues
i was attempting to install my h-pipe today and broke off one of the studs/bolts inside of the flange on the bottom of one of the header pipes. we cut it off on both sides and tried drilling out the center.. but it was taking forever with our drill bits. so then we tried using an easy-out to extract it and the easy out broke off inside of the hole we had drilled lol. oh yeah, that was even after heating it up with a blow torch to the point where it was red. anyone have any other suggestions? or should i just take it to an exhaust shop to have them do their magic?
see.. this is why NOTHING is ever easy.. NOTHING.. something always goes wrong.

RE: broken bolt blues
if you didnt heat the stud BEFORE removing, only blame yourself for breaking it. BUT an exhaust shop isnt going to do anything you cant do. Go to the hardware store get a case hardened or titanium bit the size you need and drill. I receive satisfaction after accomplishing something that goes wrong.
