A/C Removal and new hose??

ok so i have an 88 5.0 and i just removed the a/c unit and got a new belt. heres my question, so i got the belt and i got the 88 5.0 belt w/o a/c. when i went to put it on, its too small. is there an aftermarket belt i need or do i need to move the power steering pump or sumthing? any help is appreciated.

gENERALLY That means you have to move the P/S pump up. Otherwise you can't route the belt correctly

ok so i can move the power steering pump up to the bracket where the a/c was?? will it just fit in that bracket?

Honestly I don't really know about that. I know there are cheap little conversions, but you might be able to fashion something yourself. But honestly I am not a 100%

thanks man. i actually just ordered that from summit racing and it was $10 cheaper

. so i got 1 more question....does anyone have it? because it ways its not smog legal in cali. and i live in cali, and i need to get smogged soon so i need to know if it really wont pass cuz then il put it on after.
