Default cobra intake

i have a cobra upper and lower intake i need to install before i go to mustang week at myrtle beach at the end of july my question is how hard are they to install and also i need an intake manifold gasket kit do you think autozone or an auto parts store might have them or do i have to go to ford to get the kit?????thanks in advance........i have a guy that used to be a ford tech that stated that when i got the kit that he would install it for $50 seems reasonable and it would prevent me alot of headache i think

yes put new gaskets on

easy to do, should take about 30mins.

$50 is reasonable if you dont want to mess with it
I think you need a torque wrench too, so if you dont have one just pay the $50.

I'll have to disagree with the 30 min statment, but it is fairly easy. I would say after draining coolant, unhooking heater hoses, removing fuel rails and injectors and reversing it all I would say around an hour and a half

do you run the coolant lines? Or just plug them on the intake?

The only coolant lines are on the EGR spacer. Are you talking about the vacuum lines? Those all have places they go depending on your setup and whether you've omitted anything [like EGR, non-stock valve covers, etc.]

The Cobra intake eliminates the EGR spacer, but on the plenum their is still those coolant line nipples. Which I was assuming that those fittings were to be where the coolant lines were to go. I believe they can just be plugged off... is this believed as correct information?

Yes, that is correct. You don't need coolant in the TB.
