I am planning on putting 245/60/15 for new rear tires when I arrive in MA and keep my fresh 225/60/15 in the front. Is wider rears legal in MA? Also does that setup have any negative effect on a stock 5.0?

All kinds of new cars have wider rears, why shouldn't your fox? (that can kill most of those new cars) hehe

this is one area of the motor vehicle MA does not have laws on about size

75% tread, and DOT approved tires are required for use on public roads

so no baldies and no slicks

Do you know of a good fair mechanic in the area you could refer me to. 3:73's are going in When I get there as well as BBK ceramic equals and a X pipe with highflow cats. I am going to dump about a Grand into the car when I get there.

yeah it dont matter how wide your tires are just as long as it doesnt go out past the fender. well its that way in Pa.
