I got an 85 gt that I am got to only be racing with,I would like to put more gear out back, currently i am running 3.73. with a 5 speed would 4.30s be good?
4.30's are perfect, 4.56 would be too high depending on your power out put (stroker, big cubes, Big turbo), it could cause you to have to be in 5th, but then just run a taller tire 28" with 4.30's or like a 29" for 4.56s, im going to run 4.30's on my next project stang, its a daily driver, so for a track trailer queen id run 4.56s but other than that 4.30's are awsome...4.56 even better, Ive had 4.10s on the street and they were awsome, but i wish i went 4.30, and rember thats was a daily driver 5 speed
