ANY HAVE THE SUMMIT SPORT SEATS IN THERE 5.0
im getting ready to order some summit sport seats i was wondering if i could you the stock seat track or would i need new ones. also is there anymore fitment problems?

this is what it would look like in my car i was going to get corbeau seats but they are to much money for me right now and i think the summit seats look good and there cheap

not bad dude.. i like 'em. so did you end up using the stock seat rails or not? i'm wondering the same things you were.. about what modifications it requires to fit them in. also, are the comfortable to sit in? or have you not tested them out yet? oh yeah, how much did they run you cost-wise after shipping?

wow after all the searching, these r the seats i want, but b4 i order em, r they guaranteed to fit an 87 5.0? and will i have to buy any other accessories to go along or am i set?

i took the old stock bracket off and welded them to the nwe seat brackets it worked great but i think no matter what u will have to custom make seat brackets to fit ur car

i do and i tried using the stock brackets but they would not line up so then i tried to modify the bracket and got to work but the seat sat way to high for me so then i took a piece of diamond plate and attached the seat to it and drilled some holes in the diamond plate to fit the front studs of the factory spot. then i drilled holes in the floor pan for the back holes. doesnt look bad unless you get on the floor and look. from outside the car you cant see the diamond plate and also the summit seats come with sliders so then just attach that if want them to move i didnt do that cause i ruined them trying to modify them. one thing for sure if you are tall you will have plenty of leg room and head room.
