Default It all starts Tom.

Well Tom is the big day for my pony. I pulling the engine. I am still un clear with waht i am going to do with it when i get it out but, for sure, headers, new rear main, would like to do H,C,I, swap while i am there to. I know i have asked before but just before i order it whats everyone suggest and i would hav eto get a tune wouldnt i? Thanks. Ill keep you all posted. Also what headers should i buy, brand, size. And i was thinking i should proably install the new headers once the engine is back in the car correct?

Theres no inexpensive alternative for muscle. If I were you...I wouldnt do the whole 'while I'm in there' idea. Thats how you end up with a car that hasnt ran in two years lol. For exhaust...if you want to go the cheap way, get some BBK equal length shorties with a BBK catted/non-catted x/h pipe. Your choice. Headers size will be fine with 1 5/8" tubes and a 2.5" collector. Get a dremel tool and grind out the excess weld in the BBK headers. You might be able to open up the inlet tubes a little as well as the collector.
