Default Spedometer out of control?

My spedometer is rolling digits quicker than usual. I dont know what upgrades the previous did to the car so I dont know if he installed gears. Could it be anything else?

Different sized tires may have an impact. Gears, I don't think would be an issue because the speedometer is inside the transmission. Maybe a stripped speedo gear. Could be a multitude of things. Maybe your car's just faster than normal!

Make sure you get the right one for the gears you have. Call summit and talk to them.

If it just reads higher than what your going all the time its the speedo gear. Its one of those plastic gears. If it justs bounces a little bit then its probably your cable.
