yeah, thats a good idea. right now, it requires me to take off both rear tires to get to them. they are screwed in. I have some fasteners that will work. But, for the track, im definately going to use them. I take it you take yours to the track after seeing it (god its a sexy beast!). How do you clean off all the rubber and compound and grease? Mine being white shows everything and my flaps are black inside- i cant even get them white anymore. With a paint job like that, you must know some secrets.....

the time seems slow.Muscle mustangs and fast fords got 14.98 from a ragtop 95 auto with 2 73,but it seems they always get the best time.

thats what Im thinking too! I was always told low 15's before gears/shift kit. Where did you find that info or can you link me to the article on there 14.98 time? I want to show my buddies (and mechanic) and see what the problem is or if Im really that bad of a driver. I mean really, stock getting 14.98, me with gears/shift kit getting a 15.6. Not too cool! But she looks mean, eh?

Okay, so I did some research and found some really good info at http://www.airflowresearch.com/. on there dyno test link page (top), they dynoed a stock 95 gt auto and @4500 rpms, it produced 179 hp and 226 torque, bone stock- topped out. anyway, since mine is a vert, (heavier than coupe), my car was actually low 16's possibly. 179 hp is very weak for a heavy car. Since I put gears in and shift kit in, I improved to mid 15's.... does this sound realistic or just wishful thinking? The rating on the 95's are so weak....

oh, and on that same page, they have a stock 95 gt 5.0 at the track producing numbers of 16.01 @ 88.52mph on the 1/4 mile. since mine is a vert, probaly add a few tenths, so it had to help quite a bit i would think....

your on the right track, now just a heads, cam, intake, and blower or turbo to get those low - mid 13's your wanting.

the foxes are faster than the sn95's i have an 84 and i roasted my buddies 95 gt couple with a stick so dont be disapointed about getting beat by him
