so i jus changed my header gaskets this weekend
took it for a drive after and in 3rd gear when barely accelerating
it backfires and starts shaking

if i accelerat fast it doesnt do it
its really pissing me off

and it also feels like it lost power
..before i changed the header gaskets
i could peel out..now i cant

i have an aod by the way

and if i put it in 1 and go up, then put it in D its fine
its only in 3rd gear

Mine did this when I got the 7 and 8 wires mixed up. Might want to double check all your wires, I'm guessing they just go mixed up.

my brother put them back on..
but i was the one who marked them
ill go check right now

dude ur a life saver
i jus checked..i guess its 7 and 8
that are mixed up but 2 of em are
its too hot under the hood to switch it
so ill do it in an hour or so

i guess stupid stuff like this is y i got a 1600 on my SAT's [:@]
