RE: No directions!
I changed mine in about 20 minutes, and that included the time to jack up and brace the car before crawling under. If your 94 is the same as my 93, it's one bolt with a 7/16ths head, and pull the assembly out. With a small hook, pull the "c" clip off that holds the gear, and pull the gear off. Put new one on, replace "c" clip, and reinsert assembly back into the hole. Tighten the bolt, and you're done.
It's a really simple job. The worst part is that it's under the car

ok so its near the rear wheels?
and is it in an enclosure, a box or something?
and its JUST one bolt with a thick cable wire going into it?
Also, i hear its going to leak something as well. Whats it going to leak and where do i refill it?

RE: No directions!
nothing should leak when you're changing the speedo gear. Just for info's sake the filler plug will have a sqare hole in it and should be somewhere around a half way up on the side of the tranny, not sure of the exact location.

RE: No directions!
ok so its near the rear wheels? On the back half on the tranny, yes
and is it in an enclosure, a box or something? If your car has cruise, you'll have an electrical connector just before the cable goes into the tranny
and its JUST one bolt with a thick cable wire going into it? JUST one bolt. All it does it hold the fork that clamps the end of the cable
Also, i hear its going to leak something as well. Whats it going to leak and where do i refill it? Since you "HAVE" to jack the car up to get under it, jack up either the drivers side or the rear of the car. This will make the tranny oil move away from where the cable connects to the tranny, and you'll have no problems with oil leaking out. If you do get oil running out, it'll be tranny fluid. The refill plug is on the other side (5 speed) about halfway up the side of the case. It takes a 3/8 drive rachet to get the plug out. Again, the only way you're going to have this problem is if you jack up the front of the car, as now the oil will run to the back of the tranny where your speedo connects. Don't jack up the front!
