Default boaring out a 302, is it worth it?

just like in the subject, is boaring out my 302 worth it. i dont want to do a lot maby just to a 306 or something. i really havnt given it much thought. and if it is and i should, what other affects will it have on my stang in the area of cooling, oil supply and wair.

well if you think you will benefit from 4 more inches, considering you gotta buy pistons, rings, bearing, oil pump, gasket set and so forth. What do you want to achieve

Boring does absolutely nothing for power. Its meant to clean up cylinders.

a noticeable difference in power. and the only reason i am thinking of the is because i plan on doing other hp increasing mods to the car.

i have almoust 200k on the moter and im not quite sure what im going to do with it. i am planing on heads, supercharger, and cam to start it off allong with some other stuff.

IMHO, an overbore on a stock engine may have a little more power because when you use a larger bore/piston you unshroud the valves to some degree.....
