Default new fan/radiator

heres the deal, sence i baught that 94 gt ive been driving it daily, putting alot more strain on the car than the previous owner. ive gone threw several setups for wireing the fan but im having some problems

right now ive got 8 gauge wire wired directly to the fan to run when the car is on the run position, it currently has a amp style inline fuse holder with a 30 amp fuse with a relay. the problem is that it melts the fuse holders and blows the fuses when setting in traffic on hot days.

i think the stock fan is pulling way to many amps and is overloading the system. im sick of the BS and constant changing electrical parts so im going to ditch the fan and radiator for a aftermarket fan and radiator. do you think switching the stock fan for a aftermarket fan running on 8 gauge wire would keep the system from melting down?
