will work well with that cam to, you could even maybe go up to an "F" cam.

or, even better, but more money.

Well how much do you want to spend? The stock heads with a port jobby and new valves and springs are awesome, I just got a pair on one of my rides

+1, these stock ported heads flow with GT-40X aluminum heads for half the money

if you're looking to not spend 800+ check out the gt40p's.

you can find them under 400, i got mine with roller rockers and good springs for 350.

they'r good for 30-40 bolt on hp for sure and with the right combo you can be pretty quik with em.

for the cost of doing a set of used e7's its silly to go that route in my opinion. Valves(not chinese ebay valves), retainers, locks, springs, port work, cutting seats, might need new guides etc. is a waste when one can aquire some used TFS or other aluminum head that dwarfs any iron 302 head. Just seems silly to spend all that money on a junk e5-e7 head. But I always say people will spend 100 dollars 3 times before they spend 200 dollars 1 time. There is no deal in stock ford iron heads

the P's are a totally different head, fast burn style chamber etc. plus they'r 60cc chambered.

i get what you're saying tho, but how much does it cost to get an e7 to flow like a p head?
