Default im stumped

Hey guys i'm stumped about an electrical issue. My 93 LX wont hold any power. It has a new alternator and a new battery, but it wont hold any voltage! I had an aftermarket stereo system in it but i pulled all that out to make sure that wasnt the cause. Anybody have any suggestions as to what to look at next? I would really appreciate any advice you guys can give me to help find my problem. Thanks!

does it die real fast or does it hold a charge for a short amount of time?
i had a brand new battery last year and it would die after one start of the car
just b/c its new doesnt mean its good, get an auto parts place to test it

Usually you can tell if your car has underdrive pullies just by the color of them. If they are silver or an anodized red or blue changes are they are underdrive. If they are black then there more than likely stock. Not sure of the size of stock pullies but the crank one is pretty big. A good guess would be anywhere from 6"-8".

It might be a bitch but i had a problem like that before... it ended up that there was a wire on the back of the gauge pod that blow out of that plastic circuit board. This wouldn't let the volt meter circuit be completed which in turn, wouldn't let my charging system charge up. You might want to check there too.
