CAI don't give you any extra horsepower. It's just a mod for you to say that you have. Save the money. They don't become efficient enough to give you anykind of power gains until you do TB, Intake manifold, Bigger MAF, heads, cam, headers, and exhaust

+1, by themselves they dont do anything, as part of a package on a heavy breathing mod'd engine
they have some benefit.

Compared to just a under the hood, not fenderwell intake, it does suck in cooler air. I tested it with my tweecer and it runs at least 10 degrees cooler pulling from the fender versus all that hot air pulled in by the fan

Get this and a K&N fliter for your stock intake box.

I got my CAI on ebay, it was cheaper than a K&N Drop in and its much cleaner looking, plus a lil extra bling. It's a much straigher shot to the TB also for what thats worth.
