i'm going to get an edelbrock intake for my '95, but i'm not sure which one to get, the regular performer 5.0 or the performer RPM II. i dont want to lose low end torque, and i never run it over 5500 RPM, so is it worth it to get the RPM II? or would the regular performer be sufficient? its not blown and i dont use nitrous or anything, its mostly stock at the moment exept for a 76mm MAF and cold air kit, and the exhaust.
if u have a stock car and do just the intake manifold will it really help, and will it run good by just puttin it on or will i have to take it somewhere to get it tuned
yeah it does look cool, i hate the look of the trick flow intakes [:'(]. i like the look of the new BBK ones but some of you guys here told me to stay away from it.
I am no expert, but I thought the RPM II was for cars with heads and cam--that make power over 5500 rpms. Won't the RPM II make a stock car feel slower?
I cant see it making you loose power.
it should do good on a stock head/cam motor.
and the rpm2 will benifit more for every mod you do compared to the rpm1
