Well then I don't doubt you. I've never had a 4cyl tranny behind a V8 personally. It just looks a little weird written down in front of me. The 4cyl T5s are known to have steep gears though. So I believe you, but man that's a BIG difference.

Yes it is and I found out the Hard way.
Downshifted to try to pass and WOW already at 6,000 RPM. [:'(]

Why would you need downshift into 2nd gear to pass..... i have a 4cyl trans in my car and love it made a big difference on take off

Because some A** slows down fast in from of you.
The you down shift and stomp on it.

I did the right thing. I hit up a few junkyards and bought a newly rebuilt one. only has 3k miles on it
