and then i read this one... about this amazing restomod job on this 65 fastback with all 03 cobra guts and interior.

Yea sure... Fallguy (from probetalk.com) did some amazing stuff with his 1991 Ford Probe GT when he backhalfed the car and swapped in a 2JZ motor... but it was a GOOD swap.. over the stock 2.2l F2T.

But... WHY IN GODS NAME WOULD YOU SWAP A TORQUE MONSTER FOR A RICE BURNER!!???!?!?!?!

because they did it in fast and the furious "Tokyo Drift" and he thought it was the coolest thing ever...




what a moron. And no, I havent watched it and won't... I just read hot rod magazine or something with a huge article about it.

That's a pretty slick swap. Makes a cool car very dailiy drivable. I had a customer who was doing similar with an '05 chassis and motor with a '67 body.
