I have 17X9s on my 90. I have 245/45 all the way around. My car is lowered 2". If your car is lowered I would suggest something smaller for the fronts...like a 235/45. My two cents.

17x9 might give you a bit of a rub up front if the backspacing is incorrect... dont go wider then a 255 up front or you will have clearance issues

Are you running aftermarket upper and lower rear control arms??? if not, you might wanna get some so you can eliminate the quad shocks.. set a 275/40/17 on those rears and something like a 245/45/17 on the front

I believe you can squeeze a 275/40/17 no problem in the rear and a 255/45/17 in the front. It MIGHT rub a little in the front when the wheel is all the way cranked to the lock. It should only rub on the inner fender (wheel well), if at all.

stick with the 245/45/17 in the front.. its the PROPER tire size

and you wont have to worry about rubbing

In 91 they reshaped the inner fenderwells used travel limiters on the rack to account for the 16" pony wheels.

go with 235/45 up front, i have 4 lug 17x9 cobra R's on my 90 and 245/45 rub a bit in turns, 245/45 are good for the rear!
