Small blocks will and have taken big blocks on alot of occasions and a supercharged, small block thats carbuerated would bring u a hell of alot of power you would have to beef up bottom end but i have a place that do do it for almost price of parts. Supercharging the way to go.

RE: N/A or turbo?
supercharger man has his mind set on a procharged small block for his S-10.... he was in my s/s class and he was sooo confident that a blow through carb small block with a P1SC could beat a twin turbo big block..... i told him he was dreaming.....so dont take him too seriously

but i agree with you myshifter, i think if you have a big block to start with, you can make more horsepower with alot less mods and alot safer. but the thing is i cant find a 460 thats worth a crap anywhere near my town and im really hooked on this whole f/i thing, so im gonna stick with my small block.......for now

I don't want to ruff any feathers nor start a big argument. (not hear for that) But Fuel Injection can be done with out breaking the bank. There are many Engine management systems out there that are low cost. One that comes to my mind real quick is Mega Squirt. I plan on dumping my Fuel Injection System in my Mass Air 89 within a few months; and going on to Mega Squirt. Sure Fuel Injection can get pricy, as can everything. My 280z is using Haltech E11 and that wasn’t cheap. But low price Fuel Injection System are DOABLE!!!
