How to tell stock heads

My buddie just bought a 5.0 mustang and was not sure how to tell if the heads were stock or not. Is there a way to tell just by looking?

i believe they should be stamped E7TE on the btm front side.

if you have aftermarkt aluminum heads you would be able to tell pretty easy

yeah if they are iron, look for e7te stamped on them i am thinking they are stamped on the back, but you know i am just guessing.

GT40 Heads have three lines in them I think...in case you don't find the stamping (numbers).
