Tell your dad your getting the car as an investment because its value is only going to increase. Notchs are about the only fox you can buy and get the money you invested in it back.

Since you bought it you know what it is worth, I have yet to see it, plan to see it today or tomorrow. $4,200 is still a steal fot 25k!... I have no clue how to detect a bad rearend. I go over a checlist I have in my head... Motor mounts, leaks, rust, clutch, and inner door jams for accidents and top of fenders. Although if it has no leaks then it probably is still worth it. This looks like a much better deal then the one I had seen that had a bullet wound in the driver door.

Any ways here is the link 93 LX Notch 5.0 I told the guy 3.2k, he said if I came and took a look and at the spot he would think about it. I so want to pounce on this, I just know I will get so much **** from my parents for getting another car no less a 5.0L. But I am in need of a manual and want a notch so bad. I don't know if it is a legit ex-chp, with those miles maybe. He said that there is no leaks and it has been sitting for a while, owned it for 5years and no longer wants it. Says there is one ding, body/paint isn't that much of a problem for me since I got that kind of hook up. Only problem I see is that the motor hsa 160k.

The car is a great deal. Those things are running 5K plus here in the Bay Area, CA. CHP's and the regular Notchbacks. The milage is a little normal for that year. A bit high but to bad. If you plan on beefing the car up that cool you get to add new parts and rebuilt the motor. If the car is stock and says a ding. Go for it. Unless you don't feel right about getting it for what ever reason.

^^ that is exactly what i would say. I know that if i ever come across a good deal on a notch im gonna buy it, its hard to find those for a good price. If you got 3k layin around go ahead and get it. You could put it on ebay and get alot more than that out of it.
