Looks like a deal to me.
Couple things will tell if it's really an cop car.
Check the keys and see if one key works everything and look for some renforcements in the floor pan.
PCop cars also have an engine oil cooler as well as a trans cooler and some real special front seats that will recline and they have special bracing in them.........

That is a great deal on that car. A friend of mine has 92 LX 5.0 coupe w/ 180k miles and it runs like a brand new car. Looks great too. He told me one day he wouldn't take less than $5k for it but I think if someone was serious enough he might take $4,500 but I dunno. So if you can get that one for $3,200 I say go for it.

If you keep dragging your feet, someone else is going to buy that ride.....

Maybe even me.

Jump on it like a 17 year old on a Britney Spears, you won't regret it.

Yeah I definately have the money laying right in front of me. I am probably going to meet up with him tomorrow because tonight he says he is getting back at 9 from Oakland. Wasn't sure if he was trying to scare me, just kidding I go there all the time. This is what my car looks next to that, MSPAINT! Back to having another blue and red setup possibly, use to have it that way when I had my 91 GSX.

Well I went to go check it out today. It looked a bit beat up. Motor mounts looked a bit cracked, all stock. Indeed it was a CHP, trunk button around the cluster, and gauges were 6 digit. I could have walked away with it for $2700 with new head lights. What it needed: tail light, a new paint job and some body work, tires and more. One thing I saw is he had to start the car with a screw drive, was kind of funny, he put it between two post at the starter solenoid, im sure it would have been easy. I said $2600 he walked in his house to get the pink and came out and said he couldn't (he double took the offer). He said $2700 I said $2600+headlights, I budged to $2650, but he didn't take. Im sure it would need a lot of work over all, not regretting I didn't get it. I already saw the necessity to dump $800 into registration (2years back), tires, and probably a whole tune-up. What I was lost is I wanted to check tranny fluid, but no stick. Even looked in my manual. He also had some wire hanging from the glove compartment, couldn't figure if they were speaker or not. Overall for $2700(more like $2900) it probably was a deal... He may end up giving me a call back. Thing is I wasn't certain if it would get me home. Looked like a project car.

Alright, think im going to drop this deal for the original notch. I found one for $3k less then 5mi from me, looks immaculate inside, and it prepped for paint (just what I wanted actually). Check this out! http://www.craigslist.org/eby/car/170198901.html . Look at his pix, he is hiding nothing, 30pix on that car, he says the gas sending unit gauge is broken and he has another. Also it looks like it may have a leak. I think im jumping, he is gonna call me in like 30 and ima see it. I can't wait, 2 notches one day, what a rush.!

Alright, forgot to mention why I wanted it prepped. I am looking to paint it, now which color undecided. Three choice I mainly want. THat is black, white or the color (think gray with black moldings like beachy's hatch)

Think the scheme like beachy's on a notch would fly?
Let me know what you guys think. I don't want red since my GT is already that.
